Beautiful Home Architecture by Todd Saunders & Tommie Wilhelmsen Architect in Norway
Two halves of this vacation home open up towards each other to form an outdoor room. The third element, a long roof, is delicately poised to hover above the two pavilions to shelter the users from the not so uncommon rain on the West coast of Norway. The structure is disarmingly simple and restrained, and therein lies its appeal. It incorporates the surrounding nature into the design. Situated on the edge of a pristine pine forest, on top of a rocky slope, the house looks out over a beautiful fjord.
